Rainy Roman Week and Weekend

Well it has been really rainy and cold here this week and the weekend doesnt look much better.  On top of being sick this week has unfortunately come and gone without much else going on. I went to my friends house a few times though which I enjoy! His family is so nice...and its comfortable there.  I am actually here now and we are getting ready to go to Ariccia ( another little town outside Rome I guess ) for dinner with some of his friends.  Monica and Paolo said they are known for their good pork and wine...and Paolo added an extra "watch out for the wine in Ariccia" so this may be interesting.  Monica was also mentioning something about a kind of donut that you dip in the wine... I have no idea honestly but I guess perhaps I will find out.

I am excited.  HOpefully meeting up with some other friends later.  Sunday I really want to go to this big market in ROme because I could use another pair of pants over here and some new boots.  3 pairs of jeans was NOT enough haha!  I also want to go to the Vatican on Sunday morning because it is free. HOwever the lines are apparently horribly long and my friends dont really want to get up that early.  I guess we will figure it out or I will just pay the 14 euro some other time.

I am anxiously awaiting my trip to Florence in February.  My friend Denis from Slovenia is meeting up with me there and hopefully my friend Leanne can come as well.

Despite the rainy and cold weather forecast for the weekend I am hoping to get to Rome quite a bit.

English lessons are going well... beginning to run out of ideas. Which is scary considering it hasnt even been three weeks.  So if any of you have suggestions of fun games or anything...please please please send me you advice!

Special shout out to the mom tonight since her birthday is tomorrow! I love you mom and you are the most amazing woman I know....Thank you for EVERYTHING! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! XOXOXOX

Alright.. Im starving. Ciao!
