Well my birthday has come and gone, and Im not going to lie, things are getting tougher. I am a bit depressed I think. I dont know why though. I still love it here but there is such a difference from doing a trip like this and the ones I have done before with other people and friends. Granted I have people here I am getting to know but it is stressful and taking its toll on me. Plus it doenst help that I have felt sick since I arrived and the cold house is not helping.
I am trying to buy tickets to visit other parts of Rome with my friend Denis from Slovenia, but the websites for Italian tickets wont process my American credit cards. So I think his parents are going to buy them for us on Friday.
I lost my Italian phone on my birthday...only the second day I had had it. I knew...JUST KNEW...I would too because it was so small I could barely ever find it...sure enough...lost it. Hopefully I get out of this funk soon.
